Modafilin Prescription.
Modafilin is an oral drug that is prescribed for improving wakefulness in patients with excessive sleepiness. The effect of
modafilin is similar to caffeine. Both drugs promote wakefulness by stimulating the brain. Thus, both drugs are considered
stimulants.
Modafilin Side Effects.
More common side effects of Modafilin may include:
- Anxiety;
- Difficulty sleeping;
- Dizziness;
- Headache;
- Nausea;
- Nervousness;
Allergic reaction:
- Trouble breathing;
- Skin blisters/peeling;
- Severe dizziness;
- Rash;
- Itching/swelling (especially of face/tongue/throat);
Seek immediate medical attention if any of these rare but very serious side effects occur:
- Signs of infection (eg fever persistent sore throat);
- Fast/pounding/irregular heartbeat;
- Chest pain;
Tell your doctor immediately if any of these rare but serious side effects occur:
- Abnormal thoughts;
- Agitation;
- Confusion;
- Depression;
- Hallucinations;
- Mental/mood changes;
Modafilin Overdose.
Symptoms of overdose include:
- Agitation;
- Fast heartbeat;
- Restlessness;
- Trouble sleeping;

Modafilin Storage.
Store at room temperature between 66 and 79 degrees F (19 to 26 degrees C) away from light and moisture.

Before taking Modafilin, tell your doctor if you are allergic to Modafilin.
Modafilin should not be used if you have certain medical conditions. Before using Modafilin, consult your doctor if you have:
- a history of previous reaction to stimulants;
- a certain heart problem;
